We Impact Lives!
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m Esther Tee, the founder of Ventes Agency. Coming from a background of personal financial management, I see the importance of sound financial planning and financial literacy especially amongst Malaysians at large. That is one of the primary reasons for starting up Ventes Agency as well. I enjoy companionship with good food and good music, travelling and exploring the world further fuels my passion in life too!
When and how did you join the insurance industry?
Back in 1998 when Malaysia was sinking in economic turmoil, I decided to take the unconventional way and started my career as an insurance agent. It was because I wanted to buy an insurance plan for my niece and my agent suggested that I should be an agent myself instead! That was how easy it was for me to step into this industry. As time went by, I continued my professional development and dived deep into financial management and till date, I have achieved the recognition of lifetime MDRT, as well as MDRT and COT builder through sound financial planning services for my agency’s clientele.
What is your most memorable experience in this industry?
What do you love most in this insurance industry?
We impact lives. For every person that we came across in our lives, I believe we must have had certain connections in a mystical way that is inexplicable in our conventional understanding. Be it our client, or our associates, I sincerely believe that we impact the lives of everyone we brushed our shoulders with. Our clients have their wealth well safeguarded and protected, while our associates find their true calling here, living their very best moments in life, enjoying and achieving their life goals step by step, one at a time
What do you think the younger generation of today should know about this industry?
Cast away your preconceived notion regarding insurance and come and understand more with an empty glass. Looking at our neighbouring country, risk management is an industry with rising demand as the country transitions towards a high income earning country.
